Hydro:
Raising of Masinga Dam Project. Awarded to Norplan A S of Norway with Howard humphreys and GSL as Sub-consultants, the services include update of feasibility study, detailed design and Bid document preparation, procurement and construction supervision. The services commenced in January 2005.

Optimisation of Kiambere hydro plant. Awarded to Norplan A S of Norway with GSL as Sub-consultant, the services include update of feasibility study, detailed design and Bid document preparation, procurement and construction supervision. The services
commenced in May 2005.

Geothermal:
An identification study for a pilot multipurpose use of geothermal energy at Eburru for possible funding by JICA. This was done in association with West Japan Engineering Consultants (WestJEC). The services were completed in October 2003.

Supervision of appraisal drilling for Olkaria IV geothermal project. Awarded to West Japan Engineering Consultants (WestJec) by KenGen, GSL as Sub-consultant will provide logistical and liaison services. The work funded by KfW started in May 2005.

Undertaking of the Olkaria Optimisation Study. Awarded to West Japan Engineering Consultants (WestJec) by KenGen with GeothermEx of California USA and GSL as Sub-consultants. GSL is providing technical, logistical and liaison services. GSL scope of
work include working with the main Consultant to prepare Olkaria (I,II and IV) conceptual model and subsequent calibration of numerical simulation model, to determine steam adequacy for Olkaria II 3rd Unit, propose options for upgrade of Olkaria I power station and carry out feasibility study of Olkaria IV (domes). The
work funded by World Bank started in May 2005
